Hello! As may or may not know, I have been in Devon for the past week, and have had a brilliant time getting sunburned, getting soaked, getting tired, and reading. I bought two books in Devon, you know. I bought Castle in the Air and House of many ways, both of which are sequels to Howl's Moving Castle, which I highly recommend. I am slightly obsessed with Howl's Moving Castle at the moment.
In other news... ah yes, my trip. I started to write (yet another) story on my mum's laptop, and I am determined to finish it this time. Also, when I got wet, I also got four bruises. Why? Because I got wet by being in an utterly tiny dinghy that turned over while I was in it. I blame my mum, because she didn't turn in round in time...
And I got bruised from being scraped along the sea bed, which was full of stones.
But it was very fun, and once you're wet, the sea isn't all that cold, so I had a great time! The only problem was that I was still in my clothes when I got wet, so I had to go back to the cottage in nothing but my soaked leggings and my grey jacket. With no bra. It wasn't very nice.
Also, on the way home, we visited the Wookey Hole Caves!!! They are just as awesome as Ali Sparks writes them, but alas-- there is more play scape than cave. It was a nightmare. And an interesting slot machine wasn't working. Pity.
We visited Gideon Reader's dream-- the Walker's Chocolate Emporium. Oh yes. I bought for myself a tube of about 25 milk chocolate buttons and they only lasted three days. That place is FANTASTIC. I am not joking. If you ever go to Devon, the shop is in Ilsracombe, the main high street, and should be fairly easy to find. Ah, what a holiday...
But now I am home and have a tone of emails to deal with, I bet. Oh well...
See ya soon,
