I'm BACK!!

Hello! As may or may not know, I have been in Devon for the past week, and have had a brilliant time getting sunburned, getting soaked, getting tired, and reading. I bought two books in Devon, you know. I bought Castle in the Air and House of many ways, both of which are sequels to Howl's Moving Castle, which I highly recommend. I am slightly obsessed with Howl's Moving Castle at the moment.

In other news... ah yes, my trip. I started to write (yet another) story on my mum's laptop, and I am determined to finish it this time. Also, when I got wet, I also got four bruises. Why? Because I got wet by being in an utterly tiny dinghy that turned over while I was in it. I blame my mum, because she didn't turn in round in time...
And I got bruised from being scraped along the sea bed, which was full of stones.
But it was very fun, and once you're wet, the sea isn't all that cold, so I had a great time! The only problem was that I was still in my clothes when I got wet, so I had to go back to the cottage in nothing but my soaked leggings and my grey jacket. With no bra. It wasn't very nice.
Also, on the way home, we visited the Wookey Hole Caves!!! They are just as awesome as Ali Sparks writes them, but alas-- there is more play scape than cave. It was a nightmare. And an interesting slot machine wasn't working. Pity.
We visited Gideon Reader's dream-- the Walker's Chocolate Emporium. Oh yes. I bought for myself a tube of about 25 milk chocolate buttons and they only lasted three days. That place is FANTASTIC. I am not joking. If you ever go to Devon, the shop is in Ilsracombe, the main high street, and should be fairly easy to find. Ah, what a holiday...

But now I am home and have a tone of emails to deal with, I bet. Oh well...

See ya soon,

Phoebe ;)

Complaining and Some Other Stuff

Last night, I didn't get any proper sleep until after midnight. Why? because one the damn gerbils (namely Glory) kept trying to gnaw at the metal stand that keeps the wheel up. And she couldn't just bend round and do it, could she? she had to tip the whole thing over! And, in the dead silence that is night, a piece of metal-and-plastic banging against plastic is very, very noisy.
So I didn't get much sleep last night.

Anyway, sorry for making you read that. Today, we are going to see this random guy talk about Shakespeare in the Shakespearean Language. After that, my Aunt and Uncle are coming, and are probably bringing me a present for my birthday which is in ONLY THREE DAYS!!!!

Ahem. Then on Sunday, three friends are coming and we're going to do some crazy stuff. It's gonna be fun.

Ying-tong yiddle-i-po!

Flute EXAM, and Cute Squirrels

I had a flute exam yesterday. I think it went ok, but, as per usual, I screwed up. It was one of my pieces, which I normally do really well. *Sigh* it's a pity. But yeah, I think I might have scraped a pass at least, so... I'm keeping my fingers crossed... hasve you anu odea how jhared it is to typwe wi5th c4eowssed fimgers?!?!

On a lighter note, I am going to lecture you about a cute little squirrel who comes to beg for peanuts at our house. It's really cute and we think it's a girl. We call her 'White-Tip', because the tip of her tail is white. If I go outside to give food she doesn't run away! She's so cute! And Fuzzy! And did mention that she's cute??

Ahem. Well, that's all for now, I just wish that more people would look at this blog... *grumbles*

See ya soon!

Freedom

Title... says... it all... aaaaaaaaaagh!!

*Gives blood curdling scream and transforms into great evil overlord person, with Dracula style cape and collar.*

*Voice also goes all deep and... well, evil.*

I... am free at last. Mwa ha ha ha ha ha har! MWA HA HA HAR! MWA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA-- *cough*

*Transforms back.*

Yes. Anyway. The point is that I am free, and the second of August...

*Goes all evil again.*

I SHALL TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!!

*Transforms back again...*

No, actually, it's my birthday. My fourteenth birthday, to be exact. And I am holding a sort of party on the 1st of August and you, Miranda, are invited!!!

Who needs to be evil when you have friends, eh?

*When reading post over:*

Wow, I really milked that whole 'evil overlord' thing, eh? I even seem to have invented another character...

Countdown...

One week.
Just one week.
Just one week until I am free.

IIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'M GONNA BE FREE! FREE ONCE MORE TO ROAM THE WILD PASTURES OF BUSHY PARK AT MIDDAY!! FREE ONCE MORE TO SPEND THE WHOLE DAY DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! FREE ONCE MORE TO ENJOY MYSELF DURING SCHOOL HOURS!!!!!

WHY, I HEAR YOU ASK? BECAUSE, MY FRIENDS, THERE WILL BE NO SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FREEDOM!!!

...until September.

*Sob* Life is so unfair...

But in one week, I shall be free...

KNEEL BEFORE MY AWESOMENESS MORTALS!!!

'The only difference between Gods and mortals is that the latter dream of living forever, and the former is foolish enough to actually do it.'

I'm not sure where I found that, but it isn't mine. Oh how I wish it was!! Yeah. Just to let you know, I am by no means calling myself a Goddess. I'm just feeling perhaps a little insane at the moment...

So yeah, in one week I shall be free until September. It's a shame, but y'know what they say-- 'when life throws you lemons... make grape juice and then sit back as you watch the world wonder how the Hell you did it.'
Or maybe it's; 'alter their DNA and make SUPER-LEMONS!!!'
I found those on someone's FanFiction profile.

Anyways, the countdown has begun!!!

Sports Day

Hello! I came home early today because it was Sports Day (OMG, how did you guess?!?!). I somehow found myself up for the long jump, but luckily the long jump was held before the main event, so I didn't have a load of people staring at me.
I still have sand in between my toes... urge...
Anyways, I came third!! And Seacole, (my house,) came second in the entire thing! I drew a duck on my arm with a yellow highlighter. (Our house mascot is a yellow rubber duck.) And made a ring out of a (yellow) flower and piece of grass. Well, actually I made two, because the first one wilted...
You see just how boring my life is?!?! I'm telling you about about ducks and grass!!!

Other news... not much, as usual, but I haven't yet had a single review on either of my FictionPress stories. (Hint hint hint!)

Yeah... I've found quite a good FanFiction, but I doubt you've ever heard of what it's about. It's an animee, by the way...

Yeah, well, I guess that's it... *sigh*

Au revoir!!

Owl City, Sky Sailing and Rounders Precognitions

Oh Goddess... Adam is amazing... check these out!!

I love this music. You may not, but I love it and want to share it with you. This blog will probably become my own random ramblings blog or something... hmm, Random Ramblings... nice name...
Anyways, enjoy the music.

Other news... I had a precognition on Thursday. I was playing rounders (well, they were playing, and I was sitting on the grass making sarcastic comments,) with Woodcraft Folk (a really cheesy organization where we do everything except craft wood), and I had a sort of mental image of the ball hitting me in the stomach. Anyways, I moved two steps to the left just in case, and when the next person batted, the ball wizzed past directly where I had been!!! at stomach height!!! Ouch... it could've been nasty...
And I am not making this up. I swear.
Well, it was interesting, at any rate. About the most interesting thing that happened me that weak... or this year...
Apart from going in a hot air balloon.
I still need to post those pictures and films...
Anyways, not much else has happened recently... sigh... oh, I did see Wind in the Willows yesterday and I loved it!! Miranda, you were epic, as was Gwithian. You were both epically awesome. Standing ovations!!!

It Is Happening

I am moving to FictionPress. My account name is Selena Estella, and I will be posting as soon as I can, but because I'm new there are some privacy and safety things going on, so I can't post just yet, but feel free to look at my awesome profile, because it is awesome, and we like awesome stuff.
I say awesome too much.

FictionPress

Ok. Since I only have one person who watches this blog, I am considering moving Creation (with some slight changes), as well as some other stories, to FictionPress, which is a bit like FanFiction except you make up your own stories. If I do, then I will post my account name on here, so that you can go and marvel at my genius. I would like your opinion, and will do a poll to find out. If I do not get any feedback, then nothing will happen until I either do or get bored with no one reading my stories. This blog will remain open so that people can still read The Phases: After Dark, but not much will happen on it.

In Between Chapters

*Phoebe is sitting at her computer staring blankly at the screen.*

Phoebe) Ugh! Writer's block! I have absolutely no idea what to write! Ebony, help me!

Ebony) *Appearing out of no where) Here I am!! Wadda you want?

Phoebe) *Having fallen off her chair* What what what what?? Where did you come from?! Oh, I get it. This is one of those things writers get, isn't it? The thing where they think they can see their characters who come and ask them 'what the Hell were you thinking in chapter 4' etcetera.

Ebony) Well, er, no. You called for me and I came.

Phoebe) ... that's pretty epic. So, you haven't come to complain to me?

Ebony) Well no, but... seriously, Phoebe, mauve top? Jeans? This is set in the future! What the Hell happened to fashion?!

Phoebe) Sorry, sorry, but I'm not gonna change it. It's too late now. Besides, it's not that far in the future.

*Ebony mutters something incoherent.*

Phoebe) Well, anyways, what do you want if not to complain to me?

Ebony) Me? Nothing. It was you who called.

Phoebe) Ooh! Do I get to call you whenever I want to?

Ebony) Well, only when you're trying to write, but yeah, I guess.

Phoebe) This is SO epic....

Ebony) You say epic too much.

Phoebe) Oh, thanks. Well, I don't really need you at the moment so you can go now if you want.

Ebony) Ok, bye!!

Phoebe) Bye!

*Ebony disappears*

Phoebe) Well, that was weird.

The Phases: Easter!!

'Hey! Amazonia! Wake up!' Amazonia sat bolt upright as someone shoved a pillow in her face.
'Wazzup? I was asleep! This had better be important!!' Amazonia looked blearily around at her friends, quite a number of whom were surrounded by bits of foil and covered in...
'Chocolate?!'
'Of course, you silly cat! It's Easter, remember?? Honestly....' Sighed Jadis as Amazonia swung herself out of bed and looked at the generous pile of chocolate on the floor by her bed.
'I don't know why they bother! I can't even eat proper chocolate! It's poison!'
'Yeah, but they did stock up on the kitty chocs this year!' They looked around to see Tom standing in the doorway, eating a mars bar.
'To-om, this is the girls dorm!' Raksha looked playfully annoyed.
'I was looking for my sister. How do you remember your way around this place?!'
'Animal senses.' Chorused everyone.
'Second door on the right.' Added Raksha helpfully.
'Thanks.' said Tom as he wandered idly out of the door.
'I often wish I was still a human,' Sighed Rouge as she poked half heatedly at her chocolate. 'This stuff just isn't the same. I will forever pity the animals who are forced to eat it.'
'C'mon, Rouge! You would give up this for chocolate?!' Raksha the ever-optimistic (and really hyper) leaped off her bed, shifted into her magnificent cheetah form and ran around the room, jumping off the beds and doing back flips. She then ran over to her pile of kitty chocs and ate some of the unwrapped ones.
'Mmm! They taste nicer in that form!' she said, changing back. Jadis grinned almost evilly and shifted into her black cat form with bright green eyes. She attacked her pile of chocolate too.
'Yum! It does taste better!' soon the room was full of animals and bits of foil wrapping. Amazonia laughed her rough, leopards laugh. Being a Phase was awesome. Epic. Like she would ever give this up for chocolate!
'Well, I see you girls are enjoying yourselves.' everyone turned to see Devic leaning against the door frame. Jadis gave a yowl that clearly meant 'push off'. Devic just laughed, a cruel laugh. He wasn't in a good mood. Amazonia changed back.
'What's up, Devic? You not get enough Easter eggs of something?' Amazonia remembered with perfect clarity the insults and rough handling she'd received from Devic when he'd first captured her, so she was not going to be all that nice to him.
'Oh, nothing, nothing wrong....' replied Devic in a way that clearly indicated that there was something wrong.
'Then push off.'
'No.' His reply surprised Amazonia. Devic was rude, yes, but not so... well... defiant in his answers. Amazonia realized she was growling slightly.
'Go away, Devic.' That was Jadis.
'Why should I?'
'Well, this is the girl's dorm for a start.'
'But I am an Elder. I get to go where ever I like.' Oh dear, going back to school really hadn't changed Devic at all.
'Well go any way. You're ruining a perfectly good Easter.'
'Oh, Easter! I forgot!' Devic pretended to face palm himself, his withering sarcasm showing that he hadn't forgotten at all.
'You're due for a meeting at the Hall today. And it starts in... ooh! 5 minutes! Gotta go!' Devic shifted and ran along the corridor. The girls looked at each other, shifted, and followed him. Amazonia growled quietly to herself. This had better be important. She still had chocolate to eat. They skidded to a halt at the doors to the hall.
'What kept you?' Sneered Devic, back in human form. The girls just growled at him. Devic rolled his eyes and pushed open the doors, revealing the hall within. It was full of Phases, some as animals, some as humans, all with their eyes fixed on the Elders and the portal in the middle of the hall.
'Fellow Phases,' said the lead Elder, his voice echoing around the hall. 'I have some brilliant news! As you may have heard, (but I hope you haven't), we Elders have been working on a special project for times like these.' Due to the muttering and confused looks from the assembled Phases, they had not heard. 'We know that many of you have had to leave your friend and families and have been scared out of your wits, so we'd like to give you a bit back. If you would like to form an orderly line up to the portal....' the Phases did this all looking very confused apart from Devic and, oddly, Tom. Devic was trying to look bored but there was excitement building in his eyes, and Tom seemed to be having trouble not shouting out in his excitement. He was standing with Emarai and their parents, who also looked rather exited. As often happened when she saw the family, Amazonia felt the stirrings of jealousy and the pangs of sorrow. She desperately wanted to see her parents and sister, but was bound by the animal spirit inside her. Now, her family was definitely something she'd trade being a Phase for, but there was no reversing it. She would never be human again. She looked up from her mourning to see that the line was moving forward. Phase after Phase was stepping through, and Amazonia could faintly hear shouts and whoops coming from the other side. After what seemed like hours, she was next up to the portal. She stepped through...

Amazonia gasped. Trees, grass, sky, sunlight. She was standing a a meadow with the portal still open behind her. The grass felt so soft beneath her feet and the Sun so warm on her back. She laughed out loud and danced around the meadow. She could see the other Phases laughing and crying with joy, and then she was rolling around on the ground with Jadis, Rouge and Raksha, laughed and crying at the same time. It seemed to have been years since they'd been outside, and seeing the grass and trees and sky made Amazonia so happy she could hardly bare it. The Elders were standing a little way off, smiling at the child Phases pleasure. Before she knew it Amazonia and her friends had shifted and run off into the trees, and Amazonia did something she'd always wanted to do: climb a tree. It came naturally to her, the way she gripped with her claws, they way she pulled herself up effortlessly, and how she balanced on the thick branches, looking down at the other cats. Jadis came up too and sat on a branch just above Amazonia's head. Raksha and Rouge yowled up at them jealously and Amazonia gave a sort of apologetic moan. For the sake of their friend they both leaped down from the tree. When they were on the ground they all looked up as they heard the happy cries of birds above them. Everyone's happy thought Amazonia oh Elders, thank you. Thank you thank you thank you! This is the best Easter gift EVER!! The cats laughed and played in the forest, delighted at their liberty. After a while, they changed back and walked happily back to the meadow.
'But I suppose there is a barrier somewhere.' sighed Jadis.
'Oh, stop ruining it! I'm having fun!' cried Raksha, dancing and twirling around the other three, before Rouge stuck out her leg, sending Raksha head first into a bush.
'You ok?' called Amazonia, but she doubted Raksha could be hurt with a steamroller, so a simple case of falling over was nothing to worry about.
'Yes, though I'm not so sure about the bush,' Raksha walked out, dusting herself down. 'And you did that because...?'
'It amuses me to see you fall over.' Said Rouge the ever-blunt. They had entered the main clearing now, but found it deserted apart from an Elder whom Amazonia thought her name was Selvi.
'Hello, girls. Back so soon? You have the whole day, you know.'
'We do?!' Amazonia could hardly believe her ears. A whole day outside? Amazonia found that she was laughing again.
'And every holiday. We can't just keep you cooped up inside forever can we? A few of you might get some funny ideas about escaping.'
'Every holiday?'
'Oh yes. Wanna chocolate?'
'Hell yeah.'

The End.

Android Hell

Fire.
Burning.
Pain.
'Welcome, Ebony, to Android Hell.'
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've just been watching 'The Device Has Been Modified' on You Tube, and I couldn't help remembering that Ebony is an android. Don't worry, I won't really send her to Hell, but I will tell you that she does come pretty close to death right at the end. Or she could, 'cause I might change the plot slightly, but it doesn't look likeit.

Which Story?!

Ok, as Sweet, Sweet Blood is out of the question, I've decided to introduce you (a.k.a Miranda) to 2 other story's which I feel I can write well:

In The Phases: Hunting the Hunters the police have finally managed to find one of the missing kids. Only one thing isn't right: the girl doesn't want to go home. Here we rejoin Amazonia as she fights not only to escape the humans and get back to the Phases, but also her longing to go back to her family and the animal instinct that threatens to reveal the whole world of the people who can turn into animals.

In Ice Heart 150 years ago, Lilly White was lost in an ill fated expedition in the Himalayas. But instead of just dieing, she was offered the chance of living by Agloolik, (no, really, he's meant to be a spirit who lives under ice). One twist: She must become an Ice Warrior and work in his service for 200 years before she can live again as a human. But, of course, in 200 years the world will have changed a lot. Anyway, now she's an Ice Warrior her name has been changed to Pirta (which means blizzard) and after 150 years she is sent to England to recover the Maiden who is destined to save the Earth... or destroy it. The Maiden is born to neither Fire nor Ice and will decide at the last battle between the 2 spirits. For you see, the Fire Spirit is after her too, and if he reaches her through the Fire Warriors then the Fire will win and the world will be lost. The Maiden resides in England because England belongs neither to Fire of Ice and is so until the Maiden engages one of Spirits in a Final Battle. Pirta has a tough job.

There. Please comment on the one you'd most like to read.

The Phases: After Dark

Everything was back to how it should be. Or, at least, as how it should be when a teenage girl is given the gift to turn into a marsh harrier at will and has to try and explain this to her parents. And a woman who can turn into an eagle comes back nearly a month after she went missing, leaving a hastily scribbled note to her 'aunt and uncle'. Deada had been really worried that the other Phases would reject them, but she'd been wrong: when the group consisting of Deada, Emarai and Tom were found by a Phase search party they were welcomed back with open arms. Emarai and Tom's parents were brought to the RR HQ a little more roughly than they would've liked but the important thing was that they were safe and with their children. They were still a little confused as to what was going on and totally unable to accept that Maria a.k.a Emarai could turn into a marsh harrier but other than that they were perfectly fine. Emarai was sitting on her bed in her little room, her bad arm in a sling and now long hair tied back in a pony tail when she heard a knock on her door. She looked up from her reminiscing as the door to her room opened and Tom came in. They smiled at each other and Emarai gestured with her good arm for him to come and sit next to him.
'Hey,' Tom said, sitting down on Emarai's bed. 'How are you? How's your arm?' Emarai smiled at Tom. Despite all that had happened, Tom was still such a big brother to her.
'Mending well, thanks to the healers.' Mending her arm had been quite easy, and the humans hadn't done anything wrong, but she now only had red-ish marks on her arm where the bullets had punctured her skin, and humans couldn't get something to heal that  fast. 'But how about you?' She asked Tom 'how are mum and dad?'
'I'm fine. Really, you people know how to make guests feel at home! Mum and dad still don't believe. I think the only way is to have you show them yourself. Deada's great, before you ask. And the Elder's have agreed to let her do the ceremony thing, even though she isn't a born Phase. They say shes 'shown courage and intelligence worthy of any Elder.' Or something like that.'
'And, Tom,' Emarai lowered her eyes as she said it. 'There's still one more thing. Have you decided to--'
'No,' he cut across her ' Not now. Not yet. Maybe in the future, when I'm older, but at the moment I just feel that there's so mush more I can get out of being human. Perhaps, if I want to, I will. But not today.' Tom looked Emarai straight in the eyes as he said it, and by his look Emarai knew he wasn't going to budge. Part of her, however, was glad that Tom wouldn't become a Phase. So much had changed, so she was glad that he would stay human, at least. She and Tom leaned together and half hugged each other. Emarai stared at the wall, thinking about all that had happened... and all that would be. At that moment she felt as if she was staring into the future. Her arm would heal, and she'd go back to her duty's, but when she came back, her mum and dad would greet her, and she and Tom would hang out with the other teenage Phases. Deada would become a new Elder, and have new power and authority and would be trusted by all. Deada wouldn't be the only made Elder, either. Hey, maybe in 186 years Emarai would be made one too. And Devic, why Devic, would graduate for the second time and hopefully behave more like the Elder he was.

The End.

The Phases: After Dark

Deada's heart was beating hard as she stepped into the room, but it wasn't just that there quest might be over that made her nervous: she dreaded what she'd see inside. Visions of raptors in tiny cages, seriously maimed, terrified out of their wits kept tumbling through her mind. 'Deada, you're doing it again.' Tom muttered, elbowing her in the ribs, and Deada blinked. When she 'did that' she apparently looked as if she was about to kill someone, which wasn't helpful at the moment.
'So, Delia.' Deada wanted to hit Tom for the ridiculous name he'd given to her, but looked up trying to look friendly. By the expression on the guides face, she'd failed epically.
'Yes?' Tom broke the awkward silence.
'Uh, yes,' the guide hastily continued 'What did you say the bird looked like?'
God, this guy's dumb. We've been telling him through the whole journey. 'Green eyes, marsh harrier, female, juvenile.' she said with as much patience as she could muster.
'Ah yes, this one.' The guide said with infuriating slowness, and opened up a cage door. It wasn't nearly as bad as Deada had expected. The cages were all about 2 meters tall and 1 meter wide, with a wooden perch for the birds to sit on. But now Deada had a new concern: did Emarai remember she was a Phase? Deada had heard terrible story's about Phases who'd been in their animal forms too long and didn't know that they could change back. She needn't have worried though. As soon as their guide lifted Emarai out she gave a cry of recognition and struggled to fly over to them. Deada caught her and looked at her wing. Four half-healed puncture wounds, each one going straight through her wing. Emarai nipped Deada on the ear in a disgruntled way and turned her attention to Tom. She hopped across to him and gave a squawk that sounded very much like 'Tom!!' and attempted to hug him with her wings. The guide looked on in a rather bemused way. 'Well, she certainly knows you,' he said slowly 'but I'm afraid I can't just let you take her like that. We need paper work and your licenses and...' He trailed off at the murderous looks all three were giving him. 'Well I can't just let you take her!' he protested 'I'd loose my job!'
'No one has a license for another person.' Deada said, and then looked at Emarai. Emarai looked at Deada carefully for a few seconds, and then Tom's arm began to sag as the bird he was holding got bigger and bigger and soon he had to drop her as the feathers retracted, the claws melted away and a young girl stood upon the floor. The guides face was priceless.
'I... you... she...' he stuttered as he backed away. 'W-what are you people?!'
'Long story. Little time.' Said Emarai. 'Oh, and you might consider feeding your patience more than rat and field mouse.' she said, wrinkling her nose.
'Come on, Emarai, we've missed you!!' Tom said making to take her arm, but Emarai grimaced and looked at Tom apologetically: it was the one that's been shot.
'You didn't see this.' Deada said solemnly to the guide, and pushed 2 £50 notes into his breast pocket. The guide swallowed and nodded, still staring at Emarai.
'Well, let's go.' Emarai smiled, her old cheerfulness back again. 'I want something decent to eat.' Deada grinned a huge grin. At that moment she didn't care that she was in a building swarming with humans, didn't care that the other Phases were going to kill her if she ever got back. Thei'r mission had been accomplished, and she was the happiest person under the Sun.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ta da!! Hm, I'm not sure you should've Phased in front of that man, Emarai, it could lead to trouble. You'll find out in a future Phase story...

The Phases: After Dark

"Uh, you sure this is the right place?" Deada did in fact trust Tom completely that this was the right place, but for some reason she didn't want to go in. Instead she felt a lot like flying for about 10 miles in the opposite direction. Just instinct. She thought to herself. Quite a few of your own kin must've died or shed blood in this place. And, what's more, it's buzzing with humans. Deada looked around. Humans in the corridors, humans behind the desks, humans bringing in more of her injured family, and humans bringing out the ones who were healed but would never be the same again...
"Deada? Deada!" Tom was looking at her in alarm.
"I-I'm fine. It doesn't matter. Lets go in." She blinked, and tried desperately to pull herself together. "It's just... so many humans." To her surprise he didn't look confused or even more alarmed, just sad and understanding. "Well, lets go in." Deada lead the way into the wildlife hospital, ignoring the uneasy feeling in her stomach. She led the way up to the desk, then paused, with no idea what to say. Luckily Tom saved her. 'Er, hey.' He said to the pretty but obviously bored receptionist behind the desk. 'We're here to enquirer about a lost bird. She, uh, escaped from a private zoo. We think she might've flow across the marshes and' Tom swallowed 'Been shot by an illegal bird hunter.'
The receptionist sat up, looking more interested. 'What species?'
'Marsh harrier. Juvenile.'
'With green eyes?'
'Yeah! Is she here?' Tom leaned forward and Deada was filled with a sudden hope.
'Yes, but...' the receptionist looked at Tom gently and Deada was filled with dread 'Her right wing was very badly hurt. Though I can tell you feel strongly for her, it may be best just to let her--'
Deada slammed her fists down on the desk top 'Don't you say that!! Don't you dare!' Now rage was bubbling inside her. And her hands hurt. Tom put a restraining arm on her shoulder. 'Please,' he said to the startled receptionist 'Just let us see her. At least once.' Angry and scared as she was, Deada trusted Tom, and allowed herself to be pushed back off the desk, as quite a number of people were staring at them.
'I-I'll call the head bird keeper to show you to her.' The receptionist stammered, picking up a phone. Deada pressed her fingers to her temples and sighed. She had a feeling they'd be waiting a while.

An hour and a half an hour later, they were finally moving along. Even Tom, who was quite patient by nature, was utterly frustrated. Here they were, waiting for some idiot to turn up and take them to a load of cages where his sister was currently being held captive. His sister. In a cage. Not that there was any way that the humans knew she was his sister. The only way they knew she could be special in anyway was by her green eyes, and the explanation of that was that she'd been 'selectively bred'. Now they were walking infuriatingly slowly with their guide babbling on about nothing in particular down a long corridor with a load of doors on either side, all marked 'Private' or 'Authorized personal only'. Eventually they came to the end of the corridor and were led through a door marked 'Indoor Raptor enclosures and Surgery'. This was it.

3 Possible Future Storys.

Yeah, hi. I'd just like to say that as the current Phase story is gonna end soonish, so I'd like to introduce you to 3 possible future story's:

'Till Death do us Part'-- This is about a city (I haven't decided where yet) where someone has it in for the teenagers who live there. As in, the teen get murdered. But something happens that the murderer doesn't expect... some of them come back as ghosts! They form a sort of gang to try and catch who killed them (this is their purpose as ghosts) and that's why it's called 'Till Death do us Part' 'cause as they're dead, they can't be parted, you get my drift?! Yeah, it's mainly about them catching the guy who murdered them, so no need to worry about the actual death part.

In 'Creation', scientists of the future have finally discovered a successful way to create artificial life in the form of an android girl they've named Kelly. Only 2 problems, 1: what they've done is illegal, and 2: they've nowhere to test her as they are currently orbiting the Earth. So, they decide to send her in a capsule down to Earth to 'test drive' her. Because she doesn't have any feelings and they hate the government, they decide just to let her loose on the Earth. Thy think she'll just go around destroying things, but as she lands in the sea, she drifts around for quite a while before finding land, and in that time she starts to really think and feel clearly, so by the time she gets a shore she doesn't want to wreck anything. This story's about her adventures with human friends and her attempts at becoming a normal girl.

Sweet, sweet blood is about, as you may have guessed, vampires. But these are a sort I've made up simply for the purpose of writing story's about them, and they have almost no relation what so ever to other versions of vampires except they are sort of venomous and they drink blood, but if they didn't then they wouldn't be vampires. They also don't really have fangs, but sort of curved retractable needle things that they can push down and out of their mouths from the roof of their mouth. When they're feeding the needle things make 2 neat punctures before shooting up again and the vampire starts drinking. Yeah, it's a bit gory, but I won't dwell on it and the venom stuff heals the wounds after feeding has ended anyway and besides the vampires don't have to kill because they don't need to take much blood. This story follows a vampire called Rose who sneaks around London every night hunting muggers, rapists etc. One night she saves the life of a girl called Julia but Julia now knows Rose is a vampire. Their lives begin to intertwine as the story continues and things interesting especially when Julia's brother Peter falls in love with Rose...
Please note that this is only a possibility and Miranda please tell me what you have against vampires.

Sooo... that's it for now and I don't wanna give too much away or I'll have nothing else to lecture people about... yeah...

The Phases: After Dark

Deada knew she was in trouble. For one thing, she'd run away from the Phases, who were her only family now. And second, she was running away, with a human. The Elders were very strict about this. Even if they did find Emarai, there was almost no way of going back to HQ without something else happening to them. 'Deada?' Deada looked up to see that Tom had stopped. 'We're here. But, erm...' he pointed to a high chain link fence towering above them 'How do we...?'
'Wait here.' Deada Phased. Tom gaped at her as she glided silently over.
'Sorry.' He muttered as she Phased back and they walked along to a gate. 'But, I mean, it's one thing to know you can do it, but it's another to see it happen.' Deada unlocked the gate and let him through. 'S'ok.' She didn't really mind. It was the natural reaction to her species. They walked along the marshes in silence, both immersed in their thoughts, until Tom suddenly stopped. 'Deada!'
'Huh?'
'Do you know how Emarai was... delayed?'
'No, but we can assume she never made it across here. Other... 'shifters have got lost along this way.'
'And she traveled by day?'
'Tom, what are you getting at?'
'I mean, if she went as a Marsh Harrier, then humans would've seen her as an average, female, juvenile marsh harrier.'
'So?'
'So, there are illegal bird hunters in this area!!'
'You think she was shot?!'
'Well what else?'
'So you think she's dead?!'
'No! I think she would've been able to get somewhere, vets are always complaining about the birds suffering because they're not killed by the bullet.'
'So she's at an animal rescue center?'
'Yes!'
'Well then lets go!!' Deada yanked Tom after her. Finally, a lead, even if it was a little far fetched.

Yeah. Sorry ppl, but I am trying to keep up the blogging ;-) and anyways, I've thought of another story idea and I'm a bit preoccupied with it. It's about vampires this time!
